I write about whatever’s on my mind: family and community, the behind-the-scenes observations of nonprofit work, skeptical faith in practice, and the little systems that I think might make life kinder. I’m a committed skeptic in the best sense: curious first, cautious with certainty, and sometimes undecided. Which is to say…I live life on the fence most of the time in a constant state of arguing with myself.
Also, a confession: my Facebook posts were getting far too long. It makes more sense to park the long stuff here and leave Facebook to what it does best for me—family moments and a little sarcasm. Think of these as marginalia—quick notes, questions worth holding, and the occasional deep dive.
Ultimately, this long-winded nonsense is mostly for myself. If you happen to find it entertaining or interesting, you’re more than welcome to read along. Thanks for being here.
